Swoovr waitlist privacy notice
Effective 17 October 2026
Swoovr is operated by RePass Cloud Pty Ltd (ABN 74 642 243 801), Findon, South Australia. This notice covers the public Swoovr website and launch waitlist at swoovr.app and swoovr.com. It supplements our company Privacy Policy; this notice explains the specific handling of this waitlist.
What you share and why
When you join, you provide your email address and confirm that you are 18 or over and want Swoovr launch updates. We record the time and version of that permission with your address. We use it to manage the waitlist and tell you when Swoovr is ready. Joining does not create a dating profile or an app account, and does not subscribe you to other RePass Cloud marketing.
How the signup reaches us
Your browser sends the form to our Cloudflare Worker over HTTPS. The Worker checks it, then encrypts your address, permission version and submission time with our public encryption key. MailerSend sends this encrypted record to our internal waitlist mailbox. Authorised RePass Cloud staff can decrypt it using the private key. Encryption does not make your information anonymous.
We do not keep a separate website signup database. Cloudflare, MailerSend and the mailbox service process information to host, secure and deliver the service. MailerSend receives the encrypted notification and our sender and recipient addresses; it does not receive your address as an email recipient. We disable open, click and content tracking on these notifications. A successful submission means MailerSend accepted the notification for sending; it does not verify ownership of the submitted address or guarantee inbox delivery.
Security and technical information
Cloudflare processes connection information, including your IP address and request metadata. We use the connecting IP to limit repeated submissions and a hidden form field to filter simple bots. We do not deliberately write submitted addresses, request bodies or encrypted signup records to application logs. Hosting and delivery providers may keep operational and security records under their own retention settings.
Analytics and your choices
We use Google Analytics only if you choose “Allow analytics”. It helps us understand page visits and technical information about use of the site. We do not intentionally send your email address or form contents to analytics, enable advertising features, or sell personal information. Analytics providers may process data outside Australia.
Use “Your privacy choices” in the footer to allow or refuse optional analytics. We remember that choice in local storage in this browser. You can withdraw it at any time; declining does not prevent you joining the waitlist. We honour a browser Global Privacy Control signal by keeping optional analytics off. Your browser may also let you block or delete cookies and local storage.
Retention, removal and contact
We keep waitlist records until launch communication is complete, you ask to leave, or 12 months after signup, whichever comes first. We will seek renewed permission if we need to continue beyond that period. Removal from the active waitlist is handled by our team; operational backups and legally necessary records may remain for a limited period under the company policy.
To leave the list, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email hello@repasscloud.com from the address you used and mention “Swoovr waitlist”. You can also reply to a launch update to ask to leave. We may need to verify a request before acting. Our company policy explains additional rights, international processing, complaints and how to contact the relevant privacy regulator.
When the app launches
This notice covers the website and waitlist only. The Swoovr app will need its own privacy information before collecting account, profile, location, messaging or other app information. We will update this notice when website handling changes.
